2010 EVENT SCHEDULE...
The Parma Bar Association has several Committees which further assist the Membership and this Organization including, Bylaws and Constitution, Continuing Legal Education, Website and Lawyer Reference, Golf Outing, Founder's Night and Nomination.

Trustee Meetings - Trustee Meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of every month, with the exception of summer break. These meetings are held at Kirner & Boldt Co., LPA. and begin promptly at 5:00 p.m.
Monday, January 25, 2010 - Election of Officers for 2010 - The Election of Officers and Trustees for the Parma Bar Association will take place at the Parma Justice Center, Magistrate's Courtroom, 2nd Floor, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Past President, Thomas Wilbur, will facilitate this year's Election. Thursday, February 11, 2010 - Parma Bar Association and Southwest Bar Association Joint Meeting - Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Marcals Restaurant beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Justice Terrence O'Donnell and Justice Maureen O'Conner of the Ohio Supreme Court, Berea Municipal Judge Mark Comstock, Parma Municipal Judges Timothy Gilligan, Deanna O'Donnell and Kenneth Spanagel.
Recognition Awards - The Annual Award Presentation for Members of the Parma Bar Association who have served our profession and organization as a trusted colleague with outstanding professionalism, high ethical standards, and who have made valuable contributions to the legal community will be made at Founder's Night with both a current and past Member to be recognized. Any Member wishing to nominate another Member for consideration of this Award should present the name of the individual, their name and contact information as nominee, and a statement of recommendation for the Committee to consider. The Award's Committee accepting nominations for this year's awards are Tom Kelly and Tim Dobeck.
Saturday, February 20, 2010 - Founder's Night - Installation Dinner - Annual swearing in of new Officers of the Parma Bar Association will be held at Sammy's in the Flats! Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner in the main dining room of Sammy's overlooking the Cuyahoga River. Each paid Member may be accompanied by one guest. Additional guests will be charged $75.00. Members whose guests are Judges will be charged $75.00 (his/her spouse or significant other) or $37.50 should the Judge attend unaccompanied. Reservations must be received by Thomas Wilbur by February 1, 2010. The Reservation and Dinner Selection Form was mailed along with the January 2010 Parma Bar Association Newsletter on December 23, 2009 to all PBA Members. Thursday, March 11, 2010 - 1.00 CLE - Members are invited to attend the pre-St. Patrick's Day dinner of Corned Beef and traditional St. Patrick's Day cuisine at Marcals. Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Salad and Dessert will also be provided. Our after dinner guest and presenter is Judge Christopher Boyko of the Federal District Court, who will speak to the Basics of Court Receiver, their appointment and role in the collection process and distribution of funds.
